Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. An California resident, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. Then, she made the decision to follow a career of acting. Her first screen appearance was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS. Her first big-screen appearance came one year later with the biographical crime-drama film "J Edgar'. In subsequent seasons, she was able to establish herself among the best young actors working today. As a result of her appearance in "NCIS," she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, Calvano was selected again to receive a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance on Disney XD's 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She she also appeared in several episodes throughout the fourth. The actress won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star because of her character in the show 'Mom'.
