Alison Pill

Pill began its journey in Canadian films, but took a while to break through to market share in the American market. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill was able to secure the role of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would have, Can, Shoulda" co-written with Naren Shankar. The episode also starred Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. After her role in Picard, Pill appeared in the lead role of the well-loved science fiction mini-series Devs (served by digital VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, just like her role in Picard the actress appeared in every episode while playing a very similar part as a scientist "Katie". Similarity to Picard did not stop there. As revealed earlier in this same year, principal theme of the show was around the ability to keep consciousness inside an artificial creation.
